Bao Ling is noted for his “illuminated” paintings of nocturnal cityscapes. He obtained his BA (Hons) in Fine Arts in 2006 from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, and is currently pursuing an MA in ink painting at National Taiwan Normal University. He has received many awards, and exhibited in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. He was the residency artist of Plastique Kinetic Worms (Singapore), Taitung Railway Art Village (Taiwan), and Marina Mandarin Hotel Singapore. He has had three solo exhibitions and his works are actively collected, including SingTel and Citadines Mt. Sophia Apart Hotel.
