Art and Expression
The popular art and expression course will start again in September 2010.
Art and Expression is a general art course in which you will work in different techniques and media (watercolour, acrylic etc). The course starts twice a year, in January and September. You will study various painting methods on paper and canvas and subject matter will vary from still life and abstract to imagination and reference images. In some classes more attention will be given to sketching, drawing, colour mixing, perspective and working in tone.
Two lessons will be dedicated to a printmaking technique and it will be possible to work on your own project as well.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 6 students which means students receive lots of individual attention. No experience is necessary to sign up for Art and Expression courses and the classes are designed in such a way that everybody – from absolute beginners to skilled advanced students will benefit from the course.
The September October 2010 programme will emphasize pastel techniques, mixed media, a large size watercolour or acrylic on paper and a relief technique with soft materials as printing technique(this technique can also be used to create christmas or CNY cards.)
